Recital April 15 Will Feature Piano Majors

About 20 students studying in piano studios at Illinois State University's School of Music will present a free recital at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in Kemp Recital Hall. They are students of Gellert Modos, Carlyn Morenus and Tuyen Tonnu.

The program will include a variety of preludes written by Bach, Chopin, Scriabin, Shostakovich, Rachmaninoff, Faure, MacDowell, Crawford-Seeger and Tansman.  Selections include some familiar piano works and some seldom heard.
