Find out "whodunit" during an evening of mystery, intrigue and food
at "Murder in Three Acts," a murder mystery dinner fundraiser for Illinois
State University's Milner Library and the Children's Discovery Museum.
"Murder in Three Acts," for adult mystery fans, will be presented on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 13 and 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Children's Discovery Museum, 101 E. Beaufort St. in Normal.
The interactive play, presented by the Mystery Shop, will provide plenty of mystery and mayhem and ample opportunities for audience participation. One lucky guest each evening will win a Bremer Jewelry "Hearts on Fire" bauble valued at more $3,000.
A family theatre and brunch for all ages will also be held at the Children's Discovery Museum on Sunday, Oct. 15, beginning at 11 a.m. Families can participate in the event that blends tall tales, funny fables, legends and songs. A hearty brunch will be served and museum playtime for children will be included in the ticket price.
Advance reservations for both events are required by Friday, Oct. 6. Tickets for "Murder in Three Acts" are $75 per person. Each dinner ticket purchased includes a charitable contribution of $50. Reservations are being accepted for individual tickets or for complete tables. Tables seat 10.
Tickets for the family theatre and brunch are $20 per person and each ticket includes a $10 charitable contribution.
