Illinois State University s Department of Criminal Justice Sciences
awarded three outstanding students with departmental honors this spring.
Cori Johnson of Joliet received the 2007 Criminal Justice Association s Outstanding Senior Community Service Award.
Johnson and Alison Butkiewicz of Lansing both received the Departmental Scholar Award given annually to students earning the highest grade point average among majors who enrolled as a freshman at Illinois State University.
Elizabeth Busche from Groveland received the Departmental Scholar Award in the two-year category, given annually to a Criminal Justice Sciences student who transferred to Illinois State University from a community college in Illinois and earned the highest grade point average among the transfer students.
