Braden Hosts Vocalist Lee Lessack in Rising Star Series Feb. 23

Baritone vocalist Lee Lessack is the next performer in the Braden Auditorium Rising Stars on Stage series, with an 8 p.m. concert Friday, Feb. 23. Tickets are $20 and available at the Bone Student Center box office, by phone at (309) 438-5444 or on line at www.braden.ilstu.edu

A Philadelphia native, Lessack s voice and persona have made him a success on the international cabaret scene, with sold-out performances throughout the U.S. and Europe. He is also a hit as a recording artist as his fourth recording, In Good Company, features Lessack in duets with such music notables as Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Amanda McBroom, Ann Hampton Callaway and Stephen Schwartz.

Lessack makes his home in Los Angeles, where in 1996 he founded LML Music (www.LMLmusic.com), whose catalog of CDs includes over 70 of the country's top live recording artists and performers.
